One of the many realizations I have had in watching coverage of the war in Ukraine is how ill-prepared I would be if–without any warning or time to prepare–I had to leave my home for an uncertain future. I have always had a pack with first-aid, some food and a few tools, but nothing like what I might really need if I had to leave indefinitely.
In the weeks that followed this realization I created a list of items and information that were “must-have’s”, and working from this list I set out to create my first “GoKit”.
